Barrel Racing

Ivy Hurst

Ivy is from Springer, Oklahoma and is a full-time trainer and professional barrel racer."This is a product I knew I wanted to use immediately when I saw it! The creator Patrick Young, DVM use to live in my area and did my vet work. He also competed in triathlons and knows what it takes for recovery! Those 2 things together sold me immediately when I saw he created the EOR strips!

I travel a lot to rodeos and barrel races and not only can the hauling be exhausting, but the use of lasix can deplete minerals. This is such an easy and effective way to replenish my horses on the go and very cost effective!"

reining & roping

Kyle and Jenna Kellmer

Kyle and Jenna Kellmer have a successful business that focuses on Reining and Rope horses. They travel all over the country for different events/competition and had always struggled with finding the optimal solution to not only keep their horses hydrated and balanced, but also to keep them in peak condition while undergoing long/grueling horse shows. The Kellmer’s are located in Washington State so it is not uncommon for their horses to have to travel 2000+ miles for a competition.

“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to test the EOR Strips when they were first developed by Dr Patrick Young.  Keeping our horses drinking while on the road has always been a challenge, but after using the strips for 2 years now, we can confidently say that we have not had an issue since.  We have also experimented with some of our young horses that (after being at a show for a week plus) start to feel tired and worn down, after a day or so of using the strips again, they have renewed strength and stamina. My favorite part of using the EOR Strips is that there is no stomach issues associated with using this form of electrolyte, so I no longer have to worry about weighing the risk/reward when administering electrolytes to a horse that I also worry about ulcers.”

Sissie Wherrel

"I was honored to get to test EOR strips during their development and immediately saw a difference while using them pre-race. My horses would drink well after a run and their recovery was better, especially with our hot summer temps."

Sissie is from Blanchard, OK and was raised in a ranching/rodeo family, so horses have always been a part of her life. She is currently running her 2 mares and has another young horse she will start later this fall. She has won the AQHA Amateur Reserve World Championship twice, Pink Buckle Premier Pink 2D Champion and the 2015 BFA Amateur World Championship. She is also the President of Future Fortunes’ where she enjoys working and staying involved in the Equine Industry.

Endurance

Stevie Delahunt

Stevie is a professional horsewoman and endurance coach. She is known for bringing five or more horses through the Tevis Cup one day one hundred mile worlds toughest endurance race successfully each year and for competing on a national level with her horses and riders in endurance. She was lucky enough to be involved in the beta testing of EOR Strips and used them on the 20 Mule Team 100 for her top horse Sparta who during the competition ate and drank better then she had ever before. It brought them into a top five finish and had everyone asking what these wonderful and easy to use strips were.

“The hassle of trying to oral syringe electrolyte five or more horses throughout a 100 mile race can be overwhelming, and unpleasant for the horse, with the strips the process is quick, clean, easy and best of all, changes the game on absorption of electrolytes interfering with feed and causing potential stomach issues; I love my horses and I don’t want to worry about salts upsetting their stomach during heavy work.” Stevie will be using EOR strips at all of their major races this year including Tevis and the American Endurance Ride National Championships.

Dom Hart

Dom is a WPRA Professional Barrel Racer, Trainer, Instructor and Horsemanship coach. She was practically born on the back of a horse, and grew up riding and training horses for her Grandparents (Hart Quarter Horses) highly sought after Hancock, Driftwood and Blue Valentine breeding program. She learned from a young age about proper horse care, nutrition and how important it is to always put your horse first. She has utilized that foundation throughout her entire career.

"I started using EOR Strips when they first came out on my very particular and easily dehydrated horse Gatsby, and seeing such dramatic improvements in his ability to travel and maintain hydration by increasing his water consumption made me a believer! I have since used them on numerous horses for a variety of reasons and they continue to be a staple for me and my program. I have started incorporating them into my pre and post performance runs now as well and it is easy to see and feel how much they respond and how beautifully they recover after each run. I am so excited for this years summer rodeo run with my team, now that I have these eor strips to utilize and keep Gatsby, Cowboy and Marley running hard and feeling their best!"
