Dr. Patrick Young, DVM — Sports Medicine Vet & Triathlete
For over 30 years, Dr. Patrick Young has dedicated his career to helping horses feel and perform their best. As a veterinarian specializing in equine sports medicine, he’s treated horses across disciplines—from working ranch horses to elite-level competitors.
When training for long-distance triathlons, he began noticing the stark difference between what was available for human athletes and what existed for horses—particularly when it came to hydration, recovery, and on-the-go performance support. That contrast planted the seed for what would become EOR Strips.
