Support Your Horse During Travel with EOR Strips

Hauling horses—whether it’s a short haul to a local event or a cross-country trip—can be one of the most stressful things we ask of them. Combining changes in routine with limited access to water, trailering puts real strain on a horse’s body.

Hydration Support on the Road

Hydration is key to your horse’s health, comfort, and performance. But during travel, many horses drink less—especially when they're in motion or experiencing stress.

Why Use EOR Strips for Trailering?

  • Promotes hydration during and after travel
  • Fast-absorbing formula that bypasses the digestive tract
  • Can be applied before, during, and/or after hauling
  • Ideal for horses that don’t drink well on the road
  • Easy to carry and use anywhere

How to Use EOR Strips During Hauling

The general recommendation is to apply an EOR strip to your horse’s gums the night prior to hauling. Applying in this manner allows time for the horse to increase hydration prior to loading.

For longer trips or for horses that tend to go off water after being trailered - we also suggest applying a strip upon arrival to encourage water intake and support recovery.

For best results, warm the unopened packet in the sun or your truck cab to soften the strip for easier application.
